Solve : How to set up shared folders??

Answer»

I want to set up shared folders between a laptop and a PC. They both run Windows XP, and they share the same NETWORK connection.Right click the folder and select properties, then choose the sharing tab NEAR the top.
Now click on the "share this folder on the network" box to place a check MARK there.
Now click Apply. And will it automatically connect with the other PC?? Or how does that work?If you have never shared folders before, the Network setup Wizard might run (been a while since I did this). Just pick the options you want and then finish. You will get some options like: use CD to configure other computers or create floppy etc...
Choose to exit the Wizard WITHOUT creating disks
Like I said it's been awhile since i did this.

Now you will have to run the wizard on the other computer.
Just go to the Control Panel and select Network and Internet connections and run the  Network setup wizard. But the network is already set-up so, why do I NEED to do that?Well, if the network is already set up then you can just share the files.
