Any reason why you don't want to update them?For Adobe the last time I updated, the screen was too strong and hurt my eyes. For ie I don't like the NEW format, I deinstalled the update.I can only say one more time... Both programs have to be kept up to date, because they're prone to all KIND of security vulnerabilities. Alternatively, you can uninstall Adobe Reader (33.5 MB), download and install Foxit PDF Reader(3.5MB) from HERE. It's a much smaller file to download and uses a lot less resources than Adobe Reader. Note: When installing FoxitReader, MAKE sure to UN-check any pre-checked toolbar, or any other garbage.
