When you set folder icons, or apply certain security or apply attributes, a lot of TIMES you will get this message: "folder task needs to be enabled for you to see these changes. Turn on folder tasks now?" it is both not true and ANNOYING, is there a way to suppress this?I cannot seem to reproduce your issue In my XP VM... I changed the folder picture, icon, tried changing some attributes, but was UNABLE to get the prompt you stated (I of course set the view to classic, because I do not use it normally). Anything in particular that I can do to cause this? hmmm... try this:
