Please help me solve my problem.

When I started my computer and after DISPLAYING the DESKTOP icons
the mouse cursor will stop moving or hangs up.What happens in safe mode?I tried to open on safe mode but to no avail because it also hangs before it opens.1) EXACTLY what happens when you try safe mode?
2) What happened just before this problem AROSE (new hw, sw, virus, error, etc)?
3) What type of system is it?
4) Do you have an XP CD?I just inserted a bluetooth then afterwards a message appeared that states:

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

Please answer my questions above. Also, you just inserted a bluetooth what?I am formatting my computer with my Windows XP Home Edition CD. I inserted the CD in the CDROM until it booted from CD. Afterward a dialog appears on the monitor screen that says:

"Your Operating System CD was originally shipped as part of a Restore Plus! kit.
For validation purposes, please remove the Operating System CD, insert the Restore Plus!CD, and press <Enter>. . .

I press the ENTER key. . . but it did not move or continue anymore as if it hangs. What should I do next. Please help me troubleshoot this problem. A million thanks in advance.
