Answer» Hi,
I have really thought about this and instead of dual booting because Vista won't let me but XP will. How do i install OS's like Vista and MS-DOS both under Virtual PC?Try this GUIDE on installing DOS on Virtual PC. http://infomyth.com/DOS/index.htm
You want to install Vista as well on the virtual pc? here's a bit of reading: http://windowsvistablog.com/blogs/windowsvista/archive/2006/10/11/virtual-pc-2007-beta-free-and-available-now.aspx If you can't get to read the Vista install disc, select CD in the virtual machine WINDOW and select the cd/dvd drive with the install disc in it. You should ofcourse install DOS and Vista on separate Virtual Machines so you avoid the dual booting mess.Quote from: Deerpark on September 14, 2007, 05:38:19 PM Try this guide on installing DOS on Virtual PC. http://infomyth.com/DOS/index.htm

I have DOS installed but when installing Vista i get a message saying BOOTMGR is missing. Are you installing it on the same virtual machine or on a separate? I would RECOMMEND using a separate VM.
