Answer» I Have a HP Compaq d220 MT that is giving me some problems.
I just installed Windows xp version 2002 w/sp3. When I start up I get windows ok, ALONG with the THREE users that I originally set up in the old version.
When I start user one it COMES up ok showing the normal desktop. Then a splash panel appears; AirGFCG.exe Entry point not found.
Very shortly after that it attempts to set up my photo gallery. During that process it stops to ask for the photo gallery on a CD. I do not have such a cd, so the process stops dead and I can not continue "the installation until I find it".
Any help you can provide would be most appreciated.
Thanks Dan PageAre you using a retail copy of Windows, or a version SUPPLIED by the company? Thanks for the reply, GRIFF, most appreciated.
I bought the package from a local computer store.
DanFrom what I have found, AirGFCG is used to monitor a D-Link Wireless adapter. Are you using one? Thanks. Yes, I do have one of those and I just discovered, on another thread, what the problem is and now have that one fixed.
I still have no word on the Photo Gallery, however. Is it Windows photo gallery it's trying to set up, or some BS thing from an HP printer or something...
I got a feeling you got a printer driver that tried to install one of those useless photo suites, and it's trying to finish it up with the CD.
