Solve : HP computer?

Answer»

Dual core means the CPU has two cores.
It will be up to twice as fast as a single core equivalent when doing more than one thing.
That's a fairly good CPU, but make sure yo get a socket AM2 rather than 939 one.
Also try for a faster one if possible.
XP Media Centre Edition, I advise you to ignore that unless you're after a media centre PC.
People who have it tend to complain about it a fair amount, go for a standard OS instead.Quote from: gordenLidy on MAY 26, 2007, 04:17:49 AM

what does it mean when it says Dual-Core

Ath64 X2 3800+ Dual-Core 1GB 200GB
It's basically two processors in one, to put it in simple terms. It's handy to have because, in my opinion, it tends to be more efficient. Dual-core is helpful if you do a lot of multitasking.

also how good is

Microsoft Windows XP Media CENTER Edition 2005
It's just normal XP with a few extra features. Nothing all that special. I've had it about six MONTHS now and I have yet to use the extra features.

EDIT: Gah, you beat me, Calum! Speaking of which...I CAME this close to beating your high score on Moon Lander.
