Answer» hi i have a hp laptop that is acting up it first was saying ok i turn on my laptop and it do the HP screen, then the windows xp with the blue loading timer thing, then it comes to the user screen and up pops a message that SAYS " an invalid parameter was passed to a service or function" and there is a ok tap i click ok and it just reboost and DOSE the same thing over and over. and is now saying after trying to update a password this return status shows that the vallue provided as the current passwors is it is not correct. lass.exe im triyng to do SYSTEM restore but i try to go to safe mode mode ND is says that up there!!! it was working fine 2 nights go plz help!While starting your laptop, hold F8 key, and then pick "last KNOWN good configuration"
