Solve : HP Pavilion Elite M9500y does not load? |

Answer» What to do if HP Pavilion Elite M9500y has a blinking white line in the upper left hand corner? That doesn't make sense at all... Agreed, have you tried just putting the CD in the drive and then booting? There are NO instances where your computer will 'say', "it wont work for some reason it says that we have a virus and it wont run it". Everything about that sentence is wrong. The computer on boot has no idea about 'viruses' let alone taking a couple of minutes out to write some new CODE to tell you about it. Can you be more specific with the error message, it helps to know exactly rather than a 'sort of remembered thing'.Of course, if we consider that the Windows 3.1 floppy setup, Windows 95 CD-ROM, windows 98 and 98SE (the latter of which is bootable) All the way through to XP (at least) will in fact prompt if it detects a TSR program in the background with a message that I believe suggests that the machine may be infected. And of course the BSOD also includes advice about viruses, I believe. So yes, if we ignore all that then it's doesn't make sense. This is where I give up... what's the point? BC has it all tuned to place where people like me are irrelevant. Work away BC, as us lesser mortals are not worthy.
