Did you see a error message when XP was installing saying that a particular FILE was corupt ? dl65 actually I had put the disk in thinking that the drive was clean. I had hit enter, and INSTALLED it that way. the first instalation was STILL on there but it was good until there was three min remaining in the instalation and then it said INF instalation Failure Reason Paramaters incorrect. should I wipe the drive and then install it again?yes try that
