OK I GOT A NEW IPOD NANO AND I WENT TO GO INSTALL THE PROGRAMS INTOMY COMPUTER WITH THE CD IT CAME WITH AND IT SAID I NEED WINDOWS 2000 SP4 OR WINDOWS XP, BUT I HAVE WINDOWS MILLENIUM EDITION. HOW DO I CHANGE FROM MY MILLENIUM EDITION TO WINDOWS 2000 SP4 OR WINDOWS XP?Go down to Best Buy and buy one for $100 + or buy a copy online. It cannot be legally downloaded or distributed otherwise.

Tell us a little about your machine. It may not have enough horsepower to run XP (well) as is.If you're in the US it's $200 for XP HOME. Make sure it's COMPATIBLE before you install. I wasnt aware that an Ipod wouldnt work with Win ME.....
You learn something everyday ........however if you require either Win 2K or XP ....you will have to install a new operating system .............

FlameIf your computer hardware is good enough then Windows2000 would be a good choice for you.
