Okay, so last night I wanted to rename a file, but I couldn't, because the file was "in use". So, I made a copy of it thinking I could just rename the copy, do what I needed to do with it, and then delete it. No such luck. So I (stupidly) made a copy on the desktop, thinking that maybe it would WORK if it were in a different folder. Nope! So I restarted my computer, and still no luck. I even tried safe mode! What do I do?!?!

Why do you need to delete it so bad?
Is it a virus?
If so, why is the name greyed out?
I'm not really bothered, just curious.
If you don't want to say what it is then don't, I won't be offended.
If you;re sure you need to delete it, use Killbox.

Fair enough, I was just wondering what it was.
Have you tried in safe mode?
I don't have much experience with Killbox to be honest, so I'm not sure how to get round that error.
What processes have you got running?

And it was music... i just didn't want to make known i do that sort of stuff...

Annoying, isn't it?
Even worse when you know they're right and you're too stubborn to admit it like me . . .
Just think about what I said though, "dodgy" music and other things can be dangerous in more ways than one.
