Solve : I can't get into NORMAL mode and Safe mode doesn't work!!!?

Answer»

I switched to SAFE Mode through MSCONFIG because I thought I had a virus or something and was going to try to remove it that way

I did a windows repair and now when it starts up it is in safe mode and when I ge to the final screen it SAYS "Cannot start in safe mode press enter to restart"

Is there a way to switch to normal mode through setup?

The option for F8 is boot order

It's WindowsXP

Thanks!Yup, keep tapping F8 while the PC is starting, and then select normal mode. There is no 'Normal Mode' option

It's a list of devices: Harddrive, Portable, CD

By the way it's 'Boot Menu' not 'Boot Order'Take a look here - it is the best explanation that I have seen.

Best of LUCK!

P.S. Not to rub it in - The msconfig safeboot option is to be avoided for exactly this reason. Hope you can boot in "Normal Mode.' Quote
