i was making space on my windows xp 2000, and i accidentally DELETED my sounds driver. its been like this for a while and i really need help. if anyone can help me i would be awfully grateful.

Re-install the drivers.(if you have them) or most likely....

1.Identify your audio card or chip if its onboard. You can download many different diagnostic programs that will tell you exactly. You could try this one. EVEREST HOME Edition for free at http://www.lavalys.com/

2.Once you know the make and model number so to speak you can search on google for drivers.
There are some automated programs like driver robot but they tend to cost you money.

Anyway give it a go and you will have gained some usefull knowledge if you can sort this out.
