Answer»

ok so I was clearing HARD drive space off my PC I went into my documents folder and deleted a bunch of old saved games and stuff how ever I guess I deleted 1 WRONG folder I cant remember the name of the 1st folder but I know the one of the folders in it was called roaming. now with that folder deleted a bunch of my programs stoped working like google chrome windows media player. so I am now running a system restore not to sure if its going to work. anyone know ? is there another option if system restore does not work? thanks in advance.hey guys system restore did the trick ive never seen a restore go that quick all good stuff though thanks anyway guys 10 minutes between posts...
Just for future reference your roaming folder is important. They are for when using Roaming USER Profiles, either with or without Active Directory on domains. It allows users to have their own settings whichever computer they log onto. Just leave it, even if you are using a single machine not on a network.

Or, if you're on Vista/Windows 7, where the default "APPLICATION Data" folder is within the Roaming folder (many programs USE the Application Data folder... for, um, data, and saves, and ini files, etc.Quite right.. thanks for the extra 'important' info. Should of seen that coming
