Answer» I accidentally installed my NEW windows 7 program over my existing windows VISTA. I attempted to restore the windows.old folder that was created my following instructions: support.microsoft.com/kb/971260. now i am UNABLE to log on and when i START windows i get the message" The User Profile SERVICE service failed the logon User profile cannot be loaded. I troubleshooted this and it tells me to log on under different user but i am the only user on this computer. any suggestions???Try This: |
