Answer» Since A few days ago my computer has been acting all wacko. It first started when I PASTED a picture into word processor and when I went to PRINT the printer said something like "spooning" and suddenly froze.... for like what seemed an hour. Later that night I shut it off, and then restarted it. I tried to open Word Processor but it froze again. I reinstalled the Window XP, and yet nothing the same. Today a few days later after about a million registry cleaners and spyware cleaners, it is a bit faster and now I can open my processor, but I can't open the search application in my start column... and I do not know why? It freezes for a few seconds... almost a minute until I just let go and alt-del-ctrl. Could it be the laptop has a virus, or could this be something else? : If you formatted the drive and reinstalled Windows then any virus is gone, if that was the problem. Be sure and disconnect the printer and all USB peripherals when installing. Since A few days ago my computer has been acting all wacko.
