Answer» windows 98...I have a c and d drive...puter was working yesterday. Call Dell, they have great service and if this is a continuing issue (and if you're still under warranty) they'll replace the errant hardware. ROFLMAO! Do you speak Hindi? You'll need it to work with Dell's CS in India... Like just about any major crackerbox PC MAKER, the CS is outsourced. I think you get a different CS number if you're a business user, though, one that actually connects you to someone who actually is an English SPEAKER and who knows more about a PC than where the power switch is. But they don't need much for that, most server and office-grade Dells are actually pretty good. You can try getting the case off the unplugged machine and unplugging the RAM and plugging it back in, if you know what you're doing. This will reseat the connector and possibly clear the problem. If you're not FAMILIAR with the insides of your machine, find a knowledgeable friend (one who builds his own MACHINES is best) to do it...Bangorlore here >http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/kb/en/document?DN=FA1012191 |
