There is no reason to switch from DSL Broadband back to painfully slow Dial-Up. You need to contact an ISP in your area to allow DSL ACCESS through your phone-line. Once you have registered and they have activated a package for you, they will give you a Modem, which you can then connect to a Router for internet access. If you have any questions feel free to tell us.I would take that Internet SPEED any day of the week. You have over double the broadband speed I get.I think what they are asking is how to do VoIP with a broadband connection. Something like magicJack? If you want to completely avoid paying for regular phone service, then Skype or another Internet phone service is an option if you're willing to accept the lmitations of using your computer for phone COMMUNICATION.
