I have an OLD emachines computer with windows 98. I have the trojan horse VIRUS, and the computer sucks. I have a reboot disk that i'v used before and it has always worked, but when I try to use it now, windows will not read it when I restart the computer! I don't know what to do and iv tried everything. I need your help!... PLEASE email me if you know what the problem is!  [email protected]ID like to say, I think I may have got rid of most of the viruses, the computer seems to be working fine except that when I leave it when im not using it for a while, it just turns off by itself and my msn messenger won't work. It sais troublshoot and when i press it, it doesn't do anything. If you know anything about what im talking about please email me or reply to this post...You didn't have antivirus software... Did you?

[glb]Flame[/glb]Yeh your msn messenger problem could be a firewall. The firewall is stopping the troublshooter from getting into your computer.

Now your virus problems well i recomend AVAST it should clear things up.

Other than that i am stumped
