Solve : I need help with Administration Account? |

Answer» I have the XP pro operating system on my Dell Dimension 2400 On my system I had two accounts "Administration" which I have to log into and is my "MAIN account." I also had a guest account which I did not have to log into. Nor did I use it.. Sunday I created a different account for me with my first name for another job. Then I created an account for my mom so she would not get confused in all of my Documents I deleted the guest account as Zonealarm would not function for guest accounts any way and I never used it. It was cool. I had 3 accounts: Kirk - new Bev - new account for mom Administration - My Main Account (FYI Both new accounts have administration permissions) This morning (Monday) When I booted up my pc I was only given the option to log into the two "new" accounts. My option for Administration is not available to me. Also when I go to "control pane" it only lists the two new accounts So now I cannot get to my Firefox browser where all of my important websites that I work with are saved. They are all BOOKMARKED with saved usernames and PASSWORDS. I know that I can get to all of my documents and such. When I go to "MY Computer it only shows the file for "bev's documents" and "Kirk's Documents" I can get to Administrator Documents going to: C:\Documents and Settings But what I really need is my FireFox Browser for the Administrations account How can I fix this so I can log back into my "Admin account" or at least get my firefox bookmarks Any help would be much appreciated Thanks in advance Kirk See here if you WANT to add Administrator to the welcome screen: http://www.helpwithwindows.com/WindowsXP/tune-09.html |
