ive got another comp.. and its a win2000 sp1

and its full of spyware and registry probs.. but they can be fixed..wit progs..

but then internet crash..

and i cant install norton 2006 cause i aint got sp3 or later..

+ my cd-rom is *censored*.. first it could only find data cds now it aint finding nothing..

So and ive got a cd wit win 2000 sp4.. but i CANt install it cause ->> CD-Rom

I want to del THA partition.. but i cant find a way to come to tha meny.. and will it WORK wit a fuc*ed up Cd-rom ?

Help is really appriciated !

First get a working CDROM. THey are cheap, and you will need one.

Then boot with that new CDROM and reinstall Windows 2000.

There is no other solution worth mentioning. Now you know.

btw it aint got sound drivers installed..

and i downloaded them but cant install..

i got a zip wit like 30 useless files.. ne1 was a setupBoot with a LEGAL crappity smacked Windows 2000 CD and reinstall then. u spammer..

THA CDROM DOESNT WORK



it cant have a prob wit tha cables.. cause ive checked

but it may have wit BIOs settings.. they r *censored* up :s

each time i turn on tht comp i must change CPU settings.If the cdrom works in another computer then is should be bootable in the problem computer.
Set it as the 1st boot device in bios & boot it up with W2000 disk in the cdrom.Go to another computer then and MAKE boot disks off of the Windows 2000 CD. Then boot and install from the bootdisks. Thus eliminating the so called "crappity smacked up" CD ROM drive.

You will need 4 floppy disks for the boot disks.

To create Windows 2000 setup disks on a computer RUNNING Windows NT 4.0, 2000, or XP

1. Insert the Windows 2000 CD into the CD-ROM drive.

2. From the DOS window, move to the CD-ROM drive by entering the drive letter followed by a colon (usually d: or e:).

3. Change to the bootdisk directory by entering: cd \bootdisk
4. Enter the following command: makebt32.exe

The program should run and prompt you to insert your floppy disks to create the set.

One thing to note, it's a slower install than from a CD. So you should look into getting a new CD ROM if you think the other one is faulty.

By the way, how about some crappity smacked details about this machine? Is this a legal copy of Windows? You said something about a zip file?
