I have Windows XP for an operating system, and i have a Compaq computer. (just to let you know the basic details)
Ok so last night I had shut my computer down and restart it... the problam is that I did the whole restart process and when it got to the "Select a user" screen all that happens is the pointer shows up and the background(light blue) shows up, and then i click a little bit and it will just freeze up. It keeps doing that. What am I supposed to do?

please help, I NEED my computer! (well no replies) my GUESS is only going to be a trouble shooter it may be a monitor problem any( miosture, drinks,)been near the gadget.maybe look up compaq ONLINE considering the size of that corporation they may have a trouble shooter page there some where if not try another monitor( have you any warranty) if it is pretty OLD then i would guess it is pretty stuffed Will it boot to Safe Mode?replies pleaseQuote from: GiantBear91 on March 07, 2009, 01:30:49 PM
