Solve : i tried reinstalling windows from hard drive? |

Answer» I tried to reinstall windows xp from my hard drive and during installation it came up sayng that it could not finish INSTALLING because \system32\hal.dll is either corrupt or missing. Can someone please tell me what i need to do with this to get windows REINSTALLED. I got a disk from gateway for my emachines computer. So far it seems to be okay. There is only a couple of problems. I cannot open anything in javascript, I cannot download any UPDATES for windows xp. Can someone please help me with this? Also how do I uninstall mcafee SECURITY? thanks again. |
