Answer» Please any more help on my TOPICS please To remove dvd drive, take out the battery and remove the three screws underneath, then fold your screen back till your laptop is flat this will release the the top fascia where the power button is (it clips off in three places can take a little welly to get it off), this will then allow you to take away the keyboard, underneath the keyboard, you'll see several screws, however you'll see one screw next to a gap in the surface, this is the back of the drive and holds it in place once you've removed the screw take out your drive, you'll need to take off the little PIECE of metal on the back of the drive that the screw goes through and attach it to your new one. then replace the fascia and put your new drive in.
