Answer» Problems: 1. Videos Run Really Slow. Such as youtube videos, and others. Really laggy. 2. Applications Run Slow. Such as Tibia.exe, Aim instant messenger. etc. 3. Everything else runs fine. Things ive tryed. 1. All Virus Scanners, In Safe Mode. 2. Defragmenting my computer. 3. System Restore. 4. Cleaning out with ccleaner. I really dont have anymore solutions for this problem. You said you TRIED virus scanners, what about spyware scanners like SpySweeper? How long has this been happenning? Has it been going on a while, or has it just recently started? Have you looked into more RAM for the MACHINE ? ? If you travel to crucial.com you can enter your specs and it will tell you EXACTLY which type the machine will use. You don't have to purchase it from them you can shop AROUND for pricing... 256 will run XP but it will lag doing certain things. I find 768 to be the sweet spot on modst machines....
