I had on 16/09/2010 downloaded Internet EXPLORER 9 Beta version. However, I find that subsequent to this my computer is running slow, unable to access my Gmail account, standard tool menu is missing etc. I tried to uninstall it through Programme and Features, view installed UPDATES ( IE 9 is update unlike earlier version) , locate IE 9, right click IE 9 to uninstall. However the message is diplayed, I quote "An error occurred. Not all of the updates were successfully uninstalled." Unquote. I am not aware  which updates are related to IE 9 as there was no message to that effect while downloading IE9. I have, of course, Mozilla and Google chrome BROWERS through which I access the sites I want. In comparison Google Chrome appears to be the best browser, it being quick and fast. However, one deficiency which I find is that it does not carry Standard Tool Menu. The restore system did not work to eliminate IE9 as the restore point was some 4/6 hors. early on the same day. I am afraid we have no choice to decide restore date in Windows 7 Professional.
