Answer» Hello. Its me again. I want to clone my hard drive on my old XP as that is basically all i can afford right now. So... what is the best imaging program to do that on that still works on XP SP3? Preferrably a free one or low cost one.
Because when i have to get a new hard drive for the old laptop i DONT want to be searching fo rmonths for the Dell OEM copy so i dont have to get a new product key or upgrade to Windows 7 spend over my budget and barely fit it on this old 40 GB drive. Or even Vista.I prefer Ghost 2003 for XP IMAGE BACKUP. You might be able to find it on ebay cheap since its about 16 years old now. It allows burning to CD-R or DVD-R disc's as well as Drive to drive Cloning, and more but its not free, but a used OEM disc could be bought. Thanks, ill look into it. It seems like a really GOOD option, since i want to do drive to drive. But one question. Will it WORK to clone a drive to a flash drive?Easus ToDo...or Macrium Reflect...Both have Free versions.
