GUESS using Windows is a love-hate relationship (love all the software that is supposed to run on Windows, but hate all the security holes that forever need to be PLUGGED!) I just WISH there were better alternatives than Mac or Linux. Maybe in a few years from now? What variant of Linux is advised?
