ok i have an old computer that is a windows 98 i dont KNOW its win 98 se but all i know its windows 98 i dont know what ram, hard drive space ect.

ok heres the problem

when i start it up after it gets PASS the meory slave and noscernl check it gets an error in the dos boot sector that says "insert system disk" and i cant reinstall system because my mother is being a jerk and not letting me restart the system witch could take all of here picturs off

i neet to know how to get pass this boot error to get into the computer so i can make it into my "crash dummy computer"You have another computer?
Slave the drive in the other computer and save the pictures.

Will it boot a CD?
Boot a Live Linux, like Ubuntu.
Put in a USB flash thing.
Copy the pictures to USB flash.

Once Mom has her pictures you are cool.
So why didn't you put her pictures on a DVD and make into
an album she can play on the TV?
