I have an old computer that does not have internet connection. I want to install a PROGRAM on this computer but I get an error message that states the program needs IE6 or better and will not let me continue. My old computer has IE5. Is there a way to install IE6 without having an internet connection?DLoad it on another machine...copy to a flash drive and run Setup...Tried to do as suggested, but when I install IE on the computer without internet, the installer still tries to connect to get part of the install from the internet. Any other suggestions?You need the full version, not just the installer.

2.) PLACE the downloaded setup file here: C:\Downloads
3.) Click Start | Run and type in:
"C:\Downloads\ie6setup.exe" /c:"ie6wzd.exe /d /s:""#E"
 then click OK.
4.) Accept the agreement and click next
5.) After the setup begins, you will be given these two options:
       a.) Choose the operating SYSTEM that you want to use Internet Explorer with.
       b.) Choose a LOCATION to download the files to.
6.) Click the Next button to begin the download.
f you have no internet connection see if you have any AOL or Earthlink cd's handy. They have copies of Internet Explorer on them.
