Solve : Install / Reinstall NIC hardware driver? |

Answer» I have a P4 machine running Windows 2000 and I am having difficulty installing the driver for a new NIC. The "add new hardware WIZARD" runs fine and seems to be going correctly. I am prompted for "where to look for drivers" etc. I put in the path and the system starts to COPY the files, about half way through, the "wizard" encounters an error and shuts down. ("An error has OCCURRED - the system cant find the specified file"). However the message does not indicate which file is missing |
