Answer» My Wife has a Compaq Presario, with xp-xp2 home,19 GB, with quick books INSTALLED. All at once when she tries to open the program, about half way through opening this message APPEARS (qbhelp.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close). Intuit is no help other than wanting to sell me a repair disk. I have run repair on the program to no avail. Ran reinstall on NET Frame just in case. I hate to reinstall quick books since she would LOSE her data. Any suggestions appreciated. Evidently this is a common problem with intuit.It must be possible to backup or export her data so QuickBooks can be reinstalled.
