Answer» I am trying to install some programs in my computer including the LAN driver and I keep GETTING the message that the WINDOWS Installer SERVICE cannot be accessed. I says it may be because I'm in Safe MODE (which I'm not). How do I correct this problem?GO to Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Services. Do you see the WINDOWS INSTALLER service listed? Make sure it's not set to "disabled" (it can be "manual" or "automatic" - either is fine). |
