I ve got a problem and its simply getting me maddddd . I need to install a program, but when i click on the setup icon it just does nothing. Then when I am switching off the computer it starts to install, but obviously it does not becoz the computer is shutting down.
Can someone please tell me what can the problem be ? I TRIED to install it in safe mode, but it STILL did not work.
thanks BEFOREHAND SimonA ....... How about telling us what OPERATING system you are using and what program is it your trying to install.

Im using Windows XP professional version and im trying to install a schematic program which is called PSpice. The program is a student version and I am now wondering if it is giving me these problems because im am trying to install it on a professional OS. Can this be so ? Win98/NT...
You may want to visit the Author's site to SEE if it's supported for XP...
