Answer» hi i WANT to USE centos in vista os using virtual machine. i install VM. when i want to install centos it shows boot failure . do we have to do any thing in the storage field of the vm setting. You don't really have to do anything in the storage field, it should create the virtual disk in the Centos folder that you downloaded and saved and should boot just FINE. Maybe you can download the OS again and OPEN the VM Player (i assume that is what you are using) Don't open Centos from the folder, open it from the VM Player. Have you TRIED Ubuntu in VM? It is much better than Centos.
