Answer» :-[I have a used pc and I cannot install from a CD programs or games. HELP!! CJWe need more information, Please look here.Sorry. I'm USING Windows XP HOME Edition. I don't get an error message, just nothing happens at all. I've tried different WAYS of typing "SETUP" in the run box, etc., but nothing WORKS. Hmmm, I'm stumped! CJIs this a recent problem? Does this happen with all setups? Exactly what are you trying to install?What if you go to My Computer and TRY to open the CD from there? Does it start running? Does it at least open the CD so you can see the contents? If so, try double-clicking on the setup.exe file.
