Answer» I am running win xp pro and I just downloaded LimeWire.
After I installed it and then whent to run it it SAYS LimeWire can't find the Files it needs to run.
And then if I just click ok and get into LimWire I can do a search for Music but when I GO to download them it just does nothing.
How do I know what files LimeWire needs it wont tell me. And I do have Service Pack 2Sounds like a corrupt install. I'd uninstall, and reinstall if you must have limewire ( cringe ).... Hope you have a good firewall and antivirus!!!! Where did you DLoad it from ? ? Are you on dial-up internet ? ?I am on DSL and I did just uninstalled it and re installed it and the same thing comes up when I go to use it.
I WOULD love to use something els but no other program I tryed would tell you if the music was in 44.1 kHz and a lot of them did not even tell me the Bit RATE it was in.
