Answer» Just installed a clean copy of Windows and when I went to GO to update half of the updates installed but stopped at a framework. I tried manually installing it but it just STAYS stopped on a certain file. I have the same trouble with installing the itunes player. Not sure if this has been answered but any ideas on how to fix this?Is Service Pack 2 PART of the installation? I've found that sometimes if you don't have SP2 installed you will have problems. Alan <>< Yeah I have service Pack 2 installed. Why is it the updates I NEED and want updated seem to have the trouble? So anyone know or have the same problem ? What is the exact error message? What does a "clean copy of Windows" mean?Is it the .net framework that it is hanging on by any chance ? ? ? If so this is a fairly large file and it may not be hanging at all...
