Answer» Hi I am trying to get my computer to read my windows disk. I cant seem to get it to boot up and go into it. Have changed the SETTINGS to boot up with CD. After you boot to your win98 disk, type fdisk then enter, choose delete primary partition, then when it has deleted your primary partition, tell it to create a primary partition, and when it asks if you want the entire drive, tell it an amount (like 50% or a set size) when it has finished creating that primary partition, you remove the 98 floppy & reboot to the cd and it will format the c drive and install xpHi, ed. Your answer to two questions will help me know what to tell you: * Is there any operating system already installed on the computer's hard drive? If so, what is it? DOS? Windows 98?
