Answer» i just put a fresh new hard drive in the computer insert the windows XP pro cd, and i get this ERROR before i can do ANYTHING... its in the blue screen, after it does all its automatic crap that scrolls across the bottom of the screen. "file fac2w2k.sys cause an enexpected error (1024) at line 3514 in d:\xpclient\base\boot\setup\setup.c. PRESS any key to continue" anyideas?Have you changed Bios to boot first from the cd???dec03001....Is the winXP pro disk an original and more important is it bootable ? let us know dl65 it works now, i just TRIED 3 other xp pro cds....i dont know if they were bootable or not/// [glb]thanks for the help!![/glb]
