Answer» I did not know there was a Firefox x64. In the video I watched the guy was talking about Aurora. Which of these are the most stable. I was running PaleMoon which is designed after FF but I really didn't find much more as the poster above put it "power" or anything resembling that. As a matter of fact some of the ADD ons didn't work or weren't compatible. I just found that with the FF x64 I just installed. One of my add ons doesn't work with it yet, although it's a pretty popular add on, (Internet Download MANAGER) so I can't see the developers leaving that go for very long if they are trying to encourage people to use the DEVELOPER builds. You said you used FF, is it Firefox x86 or are running the nightly builds?Quote from: Computer_Commando on July 29, 2013, 12:36:35 PM http://www.firefox64bit.com/I really don't feel the extra as you put it power from these builds. They benchmark out at close to the same scores. To me they are so similar it's hard to even tell. There is an open source build out called Cyberfox that is also a x64 and I didn't find much benefit from that either. Who knows maybe I'm jinxed. Maybe I just expect too much too. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/955494Quote from: Computer_Commando on July 30, 2013, 10:43:30 AM https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/955494Thanks for all the help. |
