More information would be helpful, like, when did it start happening / any updates done / got antivirus/antyspyware software installed?  You know, minor things like that 

Alan <><  So you can't access ANY site or just some sites? Does this happen with every browser or just IE? Has this always happened or did it just start? If it just started, what is different from the last time things worked PROPERLY?I have Nortons 360 3.0 with spyware doctor 6 whic are all compatible with windows 7.

With regards to what i was doing it is hard to say however in general i created a new tab, new window and even opened the browser via the event log to send the error to Microsoft.

It does not happen every time but it does happen at LEAST 3 times a day.

I am only using IE8 and I even have reset it via the windows FEATURES section and no luck,

At this time I have msconfiged for disable load startup items and disable non-microsoft services and it seems to be holding at least while it replied to the post.
