My home PC does this a lot. When opening up internet explorer (I have IE8, but IE7 did the same), An empty white IE window opens saying it's trying to connect. This could stay like it until I either END it or I log off. Sometimes I have to open a number of IE sessions before I get a useable one. Then the annoying thing is that if I end the duff session, all of my IE sessions including the working one dissapear.
I ALSO have FireFox, Opera, Google Chrome and Safari, none of which exhibit this problem.
Is it an IE SETTING that's CAUSING the issue, or something else?Like this one?
[attachment deleted by ADMIN]Yep!What is your home page in IE8? What are your home pages in other Web Browsers? Is your Internet Connection is good and stable?
Try delete first all the browsing history of your IE8, then close it, then open it again. See if it works.
