Well i have dsl, and multiple computers. internet on every COMPUTER of the 4 work but mine. It says im connected and i am. I can download music on limewire... but when i open E internet explorer, no page can be found... so i NEED ideas on how to fix this if anyone out there can please please help me.Has IE ever worked on that machine

yes, worked yesterday.. and have been using it for about a year.. only thing diffrent is that we had a storm.. and power went out for about 10 min. and when it came back on the computer said that netwrok connection was unpluged.. then would go away for 2 sec. and come back (so was BASICALLY flashing "network cable unplugged". i went and unpowered the dsl box and router, and made shure my cable was connected.. and that made all the other comuters work.. but mine just doesnt work on IE explorer.. i cant get a webpage to open.. (but like i said, im connected and i have internet.. just IE isnt openening pages)
Click start, settings, control panel, internet options is there an address under home page ?  Click on network connections & right click on it MAKE sure it's ENABLED not disabled.
