Solve : Internet randomly stops working?

Answer»

Sometimes, while I'm just going on the internet, my internet will just randomly stop working. After fiddling around, I found out that if I disconnect and RECONNECT the internet cord (at least I think that's what it is), the internet will start working again. This happens a lot more often if I watch a video on Youtube (and Youtube only), and I've recently found out playing Fusion Fall creates the same effect. This is a major annoyance for me and I have no clue how to stop it. Does anyone have an idea what's the problem? Also, I don't know what kind of settings my computer has, nor do I know how to find out. Quote from: Reversinator on July 29, 2011, 02:22:59 PM

1) Run your antivirus... CCleaner and Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
2) Out of Ram? ... Add more Ram, Have fewer programs at startup
3) Run Task Manager to check CPU and Ram Useage
( RIGHT click Taskbar in open spot at bottom of screen and choose TaskManager ) Quote from: Reversinator on July 29, 2011, 02:24:57 PM

Hi Bill...
I'll ASSUME that's not directed by me, and it's for the other guy that posted.

Tried doing that, right-clicking on the task manager does not work for me. Quote

Try another LAN cable or another available port. Any recent changes, updates, installed before this happen? Please provide also your currently installed protection softwares - FIREWALL, Antivirus, Spyware/Malware scanners. Quote from: Reversinator on July 29, 2011, 08:37:38 PM

Right click an open spot at the bottom of your screen. A small popup menu appears. Choose "Start Task Manager"  from the popup menu with a left click.
