Beside that proxy setting, your whole internet connection works fine, right? 3. What is that proxy set to? Address? Port? Quote from: Broni on October 16, 2007, 08:44:44 PM I'll take a look.Hi Broni, 1. I don't use Google Web Accelerator. 2. Everything works fine as long as I keep the proxy unchecked and the settings WINDOW open. 3. Proxy was set to localhost port 8080. I just deleted the proxy address and port. I copied them so I can RESTORE them if nessesary. I'll see what this does. I have a direct connect so I shouldn't need them. If I messed up please yell at me. Thanks BroniOpen your Registry Editor (START>Run, type in: regedit, hit Enter) What do you have listed in: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ConnectionsQuote from: Broni on October 17, 2007, 06:43:56 PM Open your Registry Editor (Start>Run, type in: regedit, hit Enter)Hi Broni, What I did didn't work, when I rebooted the proxys were checked again. Go back to the same location in registry, hover your mouse over a divider between "Name", and "Type" until it becomes double arrow, click, hold, and drag that divider to the right until a whole entries in "Name" column are visible: Make a new screenshot, and post it back here.Quote from: Broni on October 18, 2007, 07:58:40 PM Thank for your image, but I'll need another one to see whole "Name" column. Thanks Broni, here it is. Roy [getting space - attachment deleted by admin]OK...now, be very careful, please. Go back to Registry Editor, navigate back to that Internet Settings\Connections subdirectory. Click on "BellSouth.net". Then, holding SHIFT key, click on "SavedLegacySettings". All 5 keys should be highlighted now. Click File>Export. Save those 5 keys as "Connections.reg" in KNOWN to you location. Now, right click on any of those highlighted keys, and click "Delete". Confirm. Close all windows. Restart.Quote from: Broni on October 19, 2007, 04:22:23 PM OK...now, be very careful, please.Hey Broni, sorry it took so long to get back; been kindof busy.
