I installed an USB device driver, APPARENTLY my Windows 98SE recognizes it, but there is no drive icon and drive letter displayed on ""My Computer".

If anybody has such experience before and knowws how to fix it, please do help me out because I WROTE to the manufacturer and I haven't got a solution.What is this USB Device?Hi,

I am sorry that I did not mention the type of the device which is a card reader.What is the model of the card reader.

I thought the details of the device do not make any difference; but ANYWAY, here it is: A Lexar multicard reader, model 022 Rev B. Hope this would help in searching for a solution for me.Did you try installing the drivers from here:

Both drivers did not work for me; I think my problem is system RELATED rather than softwware related. Trouble shooting is what I need.Not sure but did you put it in the computer before turning it on?

Also, does this card reader work on another computer (to make sure it isn't a FAULT with the device)please read this
