I have a gateway MT3423 using hope premium vista.  When restart my computer the internet works and Ipv4 says it has the internet and IPv6 says local on wireless network connection status.  After a min. or two both  change to Limited.  It does have a connection though.

I have done a ping in command prompt and it can do a loop but everything ELSE either runs out of TIME or does 50%. 

did ipconfig /all but cant copy it.

I would love any help I've been trying everything I can find but nothing seems to apply.  Thanks for your time.
   Have you gone to Gateway's website to see if there is an updated driver?  At the very least you should go into your device manager and UNINSTALL your WLAN and reboot so it will reinstall a new copy of the driver.  I've seen that fix your issue before.  Additionally, if you KNOW anyone who has one that you could borrow, you could try plugging in a USB wlan to and connecting it to your router and see if the problem persists; it will help you isolate the culprit.
