Answer» I am using XP Home Edition. It is tiresome to delete old favorites one at a TIME. Is there any way to delete like 3 or 4 at one time?If they are CONSECUTIVE ones, CLICK on first, hold SHIFT, click on last one. RELEASE SHIFT. Hit Delete key. If they're random, click on first, hold CTRL, and keep clicking on each one to be removed. When done, release CTRL, and hit Delete key. I am sorry but this does not work for me. Anytime I click on an item in favorites, regardless if Shift or CTRL is held, that page is selected and appears. You can use a neat little app called AMDeadLink...removes broken/old url's... NOTE: Be patient it takes awhile to run as it checks each one for connectivity. You can open the folder and delete the links you don't want.
C:\Documents and Settings\your_user_name\Favorites
This only shows some of my favorites, not all. I do believe I must do it one at a time.
